Yahoo Finance: Remote Workers Are Choosing Tulsa and Getting Paid for It

As remote work continues to reshape where and how people live, cities across the country are launching incentive programs to attract this new wave of mobile professionals. And Tulsa has been leading the way.

In a recent Yahoo Finance article, journalist Kerry Hannon spotlights the growing movement of cities offering financial perks to remote workers and features Tulsa Remote as a standout example. Since 2018, our program has welcomed over 3,600 participants with a $10,000 relocation grant, access to local coworking spaces, and a strong sense of community.

For many Tulsa Remote program alumni, like Theresa Kaiser, the move to Tulsa isn’t just about the money. It’s about finding balance, meaningful connections, and a fresh perspective on what work and life can look like. As the article highlights, remote work can be isolating, but here in Tulsa we’re building something different: a thriving, supportive community built for people who can work from anywhere.
