Meet Sarah Kusler, the Events Manager for Tulsa Remote! Sarah joined the Tulsa Remote team in October 2021 and, since then, has worked to create unique and fun experiences so there is something that every member can enjoy. “I love Tulsa, and having the opportunity to introduce members to some of my favorite places and resources always keeps a smile on my face,” Sarah says. 

Sarah is a native of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and after attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, she and her husband, Sam, moved to Tulsa. “I’ve lived here for nine years of my adult life, but I grew up visiting Tulsa. I have loved seeing the city transform into the Tulsa it is today,” Sarah says. “There's a little something for everyone, from new, local restaurants to live events.” 

When she’s not planning Tulsa Remote events or managing the member experience team, you can find Sarah volunteering at the Tulsa Zoo and chairing the Tulsa events committee for Northeastern State’s Alumni Association.

She enjoys running, thrift shopping, and walking her dogs, Evie and Charles. Sarah just completed her first half-marathon and also loves decorating cakes so much that she is the designated birthday cake maker for her family. 

Sarah and Sam also recently welcomed their baby girl, Nora, into the world and are enjoying their new role as parents.
