Kesha Johnson's Passion for Curating Community and Connecting Families

Hi there!

My name is Kesha Johnson, and I serve as a Member Integration Specialist at Tulsa Remote. I support new members as they transition to Tulsa by facilitating one-on-one meetings, connecting them to local resources, and helping them build meaningful relationships within the community. My role is to ensure members feel informed, supported, and genuinely welcomed as they build their lives here.I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and my roots in this city run deep. As a descendant of Greenwood and the legacy of Black Wall Street, I carry a strong sense of pride and responsibility in contributing to Tulsa’s continued growth. This city is home, and I love helping others discover what makes it special.

I believe connection is foundational to thriving communities. When people feel seen, heard, and supported, they are more likely to engage and invest in where they live. I approach my work with intentionality, organization, and empathy. I value clear communication, follow-through, and building authentic relationships that extend beyond a single meeting.

My professional background includes entrepreneurship, community engagement, and systems-driven work. As the founder of Greenwood Midwifery and Integrative Health, I have built and managed client-centered services rooted in education, empowerment, and holistic care. I bring strong communication skills, marketing experience, and a structured approach to creating processes that support both people and outcomes.

Outside of work, I am a homebirth midwife (currently on sabbatical), and mother of three. I enjoy strength training, yoga, reading, painting, baking, exploring Tulsa’s food scene, and spending time outdoors. I am passionate about women’s health, lifelong learning, and building strong, connected communities.

I am proud to support work that strengthens Tulsa and uplifts the individuals we serve. Being part of the city’s continued growth is meaningful to me, both professionally and personally.
