Remote work is no longer a trend. It’s how work gets done. And now, professionals have a new way to build the skills that make remote and hybrid careers actually work.

NYU’s School of Professional Studies, in collaboration with Tulsa Remote, has launched the NYU SPS Remote Work Success Certificate, a new accelerated program designed to help professionals communicate better, collaborate more effectively, and lead confidently in distributed work environments.

The certificate includes three interactive course modules focused on real-world remote work skills. The first two modules are delivered live online, making it easy for professionals across the country to participate. The final module brings everyone together in person at the NYU Tulsa campus, offering a chance to connect, learn, and grow alongside fellow remote professionals.

The partnership builds on Tulsa Remote’s experience supporting thousands of remote workers who have relocated to Tulsa since 2018. More than 3,900 professionals have moved to the city through the program, contributing over $600 million to the local economy and helping shape Tulsa into a national hub for remote work.

The new certificate is open to both Tulsa Remote members and professionals nationwide, with all participants learning together through shared coursework and experiences. The inaugural cohort begins in February 2026.
