Since joining Tulsa Remote in August 2021, I've had the privilege of helping to shape how remote workers discover, experience, and ultimately call Tulsa home. My journey with the organization has taken me from recruitment and marketing to member experience, and now to my current role as Alumni Integration Manager, where I work to ensure that our alumni have every opportunity to thrive in Tulsa and that the connections they make last a lifetime.
As Alumni Integration Manager, I design experiences, forge collaborations across the city, and create systems that support our alumni community’s thriving long after their year commitment ends. This work directly impacts Tulsa Remote's exceptional retention rate, which continues to show us that people who try out Tulsa choose to build their futures here. My favorite element of my role is hearing from our alumni about how they’re working to make their new home a better place.
Originally from Texas, I came to Oklahoma in 2015 to study history and political science at Oklahoma Baptist University. As a former elementary teacher and Teach For America alum who served right here in Tulsa, I experienced firsthand how transformative the right community can be. That experience fuels my commitment to helping others find the same sense of belonging and purpose I discovered here.
Outside of work, you'll find me at a rec sports league, on a patio with friends, making a playlist, or trying my hand at a new recipe. My favorite Tulsa experiences include catching live music at Mercury Lounge, savoring whatever creative magic the Old Dog team is serving up, and finding a quiet corner at Woodward Park with a good book.
