Meet our newest Member Integration Specialist, Britni Brown. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she first built ties to Tulsa from 2015 to 2020 while attending Oral Roberts University and later returned in 2022 to work within Tulsa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through those experiences, she developed an appreciation for Tulsa’s community, collaborative spirit, and growing opportunities. Her interest in relationship-building and genuine connection played a significant role in her decision to pursue a position with Tulsa Remote.

“Establishing a community in Tulsa greatly impacted how I approached personal and professional growth. Both of which have made me proud of who I am becoming, and I hope to empower others to experience the same,” she says.

Outside of work, she appreciates creativity and visual storytelling. She is a freelance writer for the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, and also writes poetry and short stories. She has a particular love for black-and-white photography, good books, pilates, and taking walks at the many parks around the city.

Britni enjoys learning from others and values problem-solving, thoughtful conversations, and opportunities to gain new perspectives. She is currently learning sign language and enjoys the challenge of developing new ways to communicate and connect.
