Hey, y’all!
In my role as a Member Integration Specialist, I build relationships with each new member, helping them achieve their goals, and integrate into the Tulsa community. Members can meet with me in personalized 1-on-1 or group meetings, join me at our member events, and reach out for valuable resources and information on how to get involved in their new city.
I moved to Tulsa in April 2021 from Orlando, Florida as a native Floridian. As a Tulsa Remote alumnus myself, I had many of the same questions new members have about relocating to Tulsa. I bring a unique perspective to this role since I am a Tulsa Remote member-turned-staff member. I welcome the opportunity to assist our newest members as they navigate similar challenges to those I faced. I want to help our new members thrive in Tulsa and am committed to supporting their journey every step of the way!
I'm passionate about Tulsa and the Tulsa Remote community because there are so many opportunities for people to grow both personally and professionally, from workshops to entrepreneurial start-up challenges. I also really enjoy Tulsa's vibrant cultural communities and partaking in quirky events around town like Boulder Dash and classic events like Tulsa Tough.
Prior to joining the team at Tulsa Remote, my work included 20 years in the customer service/retail sector. I graduated from the University of North Florida (Go Ospreys!) with a Bachelor’s degree in K-12 Physical Education, and I remain passionate about helping children learn valuable life skills through sports and physical activity.
When I’m not working, I’m active in the soccer community in Tulsa, and you can probably catch me at an FC Tulsa game at OneOK Field. I enjoy spending time outside and traveling, especially to Jamaica where I get to spend time with my husband. I also enjoy spending time with my two fur babies, yellow Labrador, Kiyah, and American Staffordshire Terrier, Maui, and have been learning Haitian Kreyol for the last year.
I’m honored to play a part in the positive momentum happening across Tulsa.
