If you’re thinking about visiting Tulsa but are not sure when to come, the spring season is the perfect time to see Tulsa come to life! 1. Local Blooms

Tulsa is home to some truly beautiful gardens. Visit the Tulsa Botanic Gardens for an oasis of native and exotic flowers, see the gardens at the Philbrook Museum of Art which has been named “the most beautiful place in Oklahoma” by House Beautiful Magazine, or visit the Tulsa Garden Center which offers numerous lectures, plant shows, and special events. Spring is the perfect time to see these gardens come to life!

2. Fresh Produce at the Tulsa Farmers Market

Starting April 6, the Tulsa Farmer’s Market will be open weekly from 7 - 11 AM every Saturday! Located in the Kendall Whittier district, the Tulsa Farmer’s Market has a diverse selection of vendors, from crafts and artworks to local produce. The weather in Tulsa during spring makes it the perfect time to get outdoors and do some shopping at the Farmer’s Market.

3. Green Spaces

While the city starts to get greener, spring is the best time to explore some of Tulsa’s outdoor amenities. Let your first stop be Gathering Place, a 67-acre, free-to-enter park along the Arkansas River with amazing attractions and world-class programming. Some other outdoor spaces to explore include Turkey Mountain, River Parks, and Guthrie Green!

5. Outdoor Dining

Tulsa's restaurants have some of the best outdoor patios, and the milder weather of spring makes it a great time to dine outside. Sit outside and eat delicious pizza at East Village Bohemian Pizzeria, have an outdoor brunch at Duet, or enjoy some margaritas and tacos on TXMZ's patio.
